This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs how all users may and may not use the FindPlay Platform, including its website, mobile applications, APIs, integrations, and related services. It applies to every person and entity who accesses the Platform in any capacity.
This AUP is incorporated into the FindPlay Terms of Service (Section 1.4) and must be read alongside it. Defined terms used in this AUP have the same meaning as in the Terms of Service unless otherwise stated. In the event of any conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service prevails.
Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Platform, as set out in Section 8.
The FindPlay Platform exists to connect people with sport, fitness, and recreational opportunities. It works because the people and systems using it behave in ways that are honest, fair, and respectful of others.
This AUP defines the boundaries of acceptable use — both behavioural and technical. It applies to how you use the Platform as an individual user, how you access it as a developer or integration partner, and how you interact with its data, systems, and other users.
The behavioural standards in this AUP operate alongside the FindPlay Code of Conduct and Safety-First Guidelines, which governs interpersonal conduct. The technical standards in this AUP govern how the Platform's infrastructure, data, and systems may and may not be accessed or used.
The Platform is provided for the following lawful purposes:
Discovering, booking, and participating in sport, fitness, and recreational activities as a Player
Creating, publishing, managing, and promoting Listings as a Play Provider
Managing team, group, club, or organisational activities and memberships
Communicating with other users in connection with Services and Bookings
Processing payments, managing payouts, and tracking financial performance through the Platform's integrated tools
Accessing analytics and reporting relevant to your own account and Services
Integrating with FindPlay's APIs for lawful purposes in accordance with the API Terms of Use
Promoting Services and Listings as an authorised Affiliate in accordance with the Affiliate Program Agreement
Any other use expressly authorised by FindPlay in writing
Use of the Platform is limited to these purposes. Any use that falls outside them — whether or not it is explicitly listed as prohibited in Section 3 — is not permitted.
Users must not:
Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information in their profile, listings, communications, or any other part of the Platform

Submit fraudulent bookings, reviews, ratings, or reports
Use the Platform to facilitate any form of financial fraud, identity theft, or deceptive commercial practice
Manipulate the Platform's review, rating, or search systems — including posting fake reviews, incentivising others to post reviews, or using any method to artificially inflate or deflate ratings
Users must not post, transmit, upload, or otherwise make available through the Platform any content that:
Is defamatory, threatening, abusive, harassing, or designed to intimidate
Contains hate speech, slurs, or material that promotes or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against any person or group based on any characteristic protected by applicable law

API access is permitted only for purposes expressly authorised in your API Terms of Use agreement with FindPlay
You must not exceed the rate limits applicable to your API access tier. Repeated or deliberate rate limit violations may result in access suspension
You must not use API access to retrieve, aggregate, or republish Platform data in a manner that replicates or competes with the Platform's core functionality
All data retrieved via the API must be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and FindPlay's Privacy Policy
You must not use the API to conduct automated searches, bulk data collection, or systematic extraction of user or listing data beyond what is expressly permitted
API credentials are issued to specific entities and must not be shared, resold, or transferred

Do not disclose the vulnerability publicly before notifying FindPlay and allowing a reasonable period for remediation
Report the vulnerability promptly to security@findplay.com with a clear description of the issue, steps to reproduce it, and any supporting evidence
FindPlay will acknowledge receipt of your report within 5 business days and work with you in good faith to assess and address the issue
FindPlay does not authorise penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or security assessments of the Platform without prior written consent. Unauthorised testing that triggers rate limiting, access controls, or system alerts may be treated as a breach of this AUP regardless of intent.
All content submitted to the Platform — including listing descriptions, images, videos, reviews, messages, profile information, and any other user-generated material — must comply with the content standards set out in Section 9 of the Terms of Service and the following requirements:

FindPlay's graduated enforcement framework is described in detail in the Code of Conduct and Safety-First Guidelines (Part 7). Users may appeal enforcement decisions by contacting support@findplay.com within 14 days of the action being taken.
